BlackBerry-10-on-iPhone

In case you hadn’t already heard, BlackBerry launched its new BlackBerry Z10 back in February, finally making its new BlackBerry 10 platform available to the public. The device has gotten off to a surprisingly good start for the Canadian company, with more than one million units sold during its first month of availability.

If you’re wondering what BB10 is like, and more importantly whether it’s a worthy contender to Android or iOS, then why not give it a try. You can now do so simply by visiting a URL in your browser — you don’t even have to leave the house.

BlackBerry has today announced that it is extending its gold standard security service that provides complete separation of work and personal data on your mobile devices to Android and iOS.

Called Secure Work Space and managed through BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10, the service includes secured client apps for email, calendar, contacts, tasks, memos, and more to allow you to have one device for both work and personal use without compromising security.

HTC is going to be announcing the One, its latest Android flagship, in about an hour, and the handset’s final leaked press shots are quickly making their way around the web. While we already have a good idea what the device will look like thanks to previous leaked renders, these are the first to reveal the handset’s back along with its new rear-facing camera.

BlackBerry — previously Research in Motion — launched the new BlackBerry Z10 last week, the first smartphone to run the company’s new BlackBerry 10 operating system. Originally set to launch in late 2012, the Z10 has been a long time coming for BlackBerry fans, and it’s a hugely important milestone for the Canadian company.

Many see this as BlackBerry’s last hope of survival in today’s cutthroat smartphone market. It’s been rapidly losing market share to Android and iOS devices over the past five years, and it hasn’t evolved quick enough to put up any sort of a fight. But it’s better later than never.

BlackBerry 10’s here now, and with the help of the Z10 — and later the Q10 — it’s going to be trying to persuade you to give up your iPhone or Android-powered smartphone in favor of a brand new platform. But is it good enough?

I’m a long-time iOS user who recently made the switch to Android, and I’ve been really curious to see if the Z10 is any good. I’ve been using the device almost exclusively since its release; here’s Cult Of Android’s review.

An internal launch calendar from T-Mobile has been leaked online, revealed the launch dates of three Android handsets — including the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE and the Galaxy Exhibit — and the new BlackBerry Z10. Although these release dates are yet to be confirmed, it appears March is going to be a big month for T-Mobile.
