Still waiting for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to arrive on your Sony Xperia smartphone? Well, you’re not the only one, but there is some good news. Sony has confirmed that it’s now in the final stages of preparing Jelly Bean for a slew of Xperia devices, and the company promises more news this week.

Sky Go has today been updated to add support for the latest flagships from Samsung, Sony, HTC, and Motorola. The app now works on the Galaxy S4, the HTC One, the Xperia Z, and the RAZR HD.

Google just announced a fresh new look for Google Play that gives content more screen space in an effort to attract more users to download apps, movies, books, and more. The new UI is clean and simple, plus it’s supposed to help you find new content faster.

Now that the Google Nexus 7 has recently become available in India, Google is making sure their new owners will have plenty of new content to access on their new devices. Google Play Movies is now available to Android users based in Mexico and India, for the first time ever.

Have you have been watching a movie and wondered where you’ve seen an actor before? Normally you’d have to pause whatever you’re watching and look it up in IMDB or something, but now you can get that info by simply pausing in the Google Play Movies & TV app.

Google has added a pretty cool feature today called info cards. Details on actors, related movies, and even soundtracks will instantly pop up whenever you pause what you’re watching on an Android tablet.
