YouTube Employee Teases Google Play 4.0 On Google+

Google-Play-4-0

YouTube Production Strategist Eileen Rivera teased Google’s Google Play 4.0 by posting a screenshot on Google+ on Sunday, ahead of the update’s official release. The image was removed shortly after it was published, but not before it had begun making its way around the web.

Google Play 4.0 was first leaked back in March when Droid-Life obtained a copy of its APK. The new design — which you can see in screenshots and a hands-on video below — better fits Android’s Holo interface guidelines, with the latest Android fonts and a cleaner look.

It’s unclear when Google Play 4.0 will get its public debut, but it could be one of the things Google shows off at its annual Google I/O event this May. There’s a chance it’ll arrive before then, though — given that Google appears to be rolling out to employees now.
