The Nexus 7 has spontaneously appeared on the Google Play store in India, without any official announcement from Google. You can purchase the 7-inch slate for Rs. 15,999 (about $290), with shipping expected to take place by April 5.

The Nexus 7 has been around for a while now in the U.S. and the U.K., and it may seem like old news to us. However, it’s great to see Google selling Nexus devices in India. Nokia are one of the leading manufacturers in India and Google along with many other companies are trying to make a change, by introducing their devices.
