Last week, Google announced its long-awaited service for tracking Android smartphones and tablets. Today the Android Device Manager has started rolling out to devices on Android 4.2.2 and up via a software update, and Google has a new webpage for tracking from a browser.

We may have already seen the LG G2’s official press shots, but at an event in New York City this morning, the flagship handset just got its official unveiling. As expected, the device offers a 5.2-inch 1080p display, which is coupled by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera.

LG calls the G2 the “most ambitious phone in its smartphone history,” but does it have what it takes to compete with the Galaxy S4, the HTC One, and other high-end Android handsets?

TuneIn Radio has received a rather interesting update bringing Android 4.3 Jelly Bean compatibility, and a much-needed bug fix to remove the constant notification that laid dormant in the notification tray.

Sony has today begun rolling out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Xperia Tablet Z. The company has made several major changes to the slate’s user interface, such as relocating its status bar and virtual buttons, but you won’t find any groundbreaking changes to apps or features.

Samsung has begun rolling out its Android 4.2.2 update for the Galaxy S II Plus, much to the bemusement of users with the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II. Those devices are still waiting to be upgraded from Android 4.1, and given that they were both flagships last year, it’s a little surprising that they’re still waiting to get the latest version of Jelly Bean.
