Android-L

We’re anticipating some major changes and improvements to Android at Google I/O tomorrow. Google finally looks set to announce its long-awaited Android 5.0 upgrade, which is likely to include some substantial design changes, and lots of new features. The screenshots above could give us our first glimpse at the new update that’s currently known as Android “L.”

Chromecast has been a runaway hit for Google selling millions of units within months of its release. Mozilla is now set to battle it out against Google’s $35 HDMI streamer with its own Firefox OS powered device that will work in a way similar to its competitor.

The unnamed device will allow users to beam content from their mobile devices, PC or Firefox browser to their TV.

We’ve seen brief glimpses of the Moto X+1 in recent months, but the latest is a five-minute video that gives us a hands-on look at the device’s software and design changes. Although it isn’t vastly different from its predecessor, the device does appear to have slightly slimmer bezels and a more rounded form factor.

LG G Watch

It is all but known that Google is going to show off the LG G Watch at Google I/O next week with the device going on sale shortly after. According to some German-based Android sites though, it looks like Google will also be selling the G Watch via the Play Store.

According to the screenshots posted by Android Pit, Google had updated the German Play Store devices page with some information about the G Watch before pulling it down shortly afterwards.

Meet the Galaxy F!

Over the course of the past few weeks tons of rumors have been circulating suggesting that Samsung is gearing up to launch an aluminium unibody, Quad-HD variant of its current flagship smartphone and now, thanks to a well-known trusted leaker, we finally get our first glimpse of the device — which has now been dubbed the Galaxy F.
