The leaked import document.

We’re starting to see initial signs suggesting that LG is currently in the process of developing a scaled-down variant of its latest flagship smartphone. Earlier today, the G3 Mini appeared in a leaked document posted on an Indian import and export data logging website. Unfortunately, the paperwork doesn’t reveal too much about the handset’s pricing and availability, but it does shed some light on the specifications that we’re likely to see when the device eventually breaks cover.

We’ve already seen one new variant of Samsung’s latest flagship in the new Galaxy S5 Active — and now we await its “mini” sibling. According to one leaker, that’s the device you see in the photographs above and below. The above shows that, an unannounced Samsung smartphone has recently passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Information included in the brief filing documentation reveals that we could perhaps be looking at the brand new ‘Galaxy Mega 2’ (SM-T2558) — a revamped model of the South Korean company’s largest smartphone of 2013.

No, we don’t have blurry photos or questionable press renders — but we do have a couple of clear, high-quality videos of the handset being used.

The One M8 has been on sale for almost two months now, and when it launched, we all assumed this device would be HTC’s flagship smartphone for 2014. But over the past week, it has become apparent that that’s probably not the case. Just like Samsung, HTC is planning a “Prime” version of its latest device that’s going to be even better.

One of its improvements is said to be a new UltraPixel camera with a 16-megapixel sensor, and the leaked image below gives us a peek at what that massive sensor’s going to look like.
