Google is bucking the trend of expensive flagship smartphones with its new Pixel 3a phone that debuted at Google I/O this morning.

The new Pixel 3a looks a lot like the Pixel 3 that debuted last year. It has some of the Pixel 3’s best features, like its fantastic camera, only its made with the budget-conscious consumer in mind.

Samsung could be planning to launch its next-generation Galaxy Note early this year. A new report out of South Korea claims the Galaxy Note 6 will arrive in July with Google’s upcoming Android N software pre-installed.

More evidence of the app drawer’s impending elimination with Android N has surfaced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week.

OnePlus has confirmed that its upcoming OnePlus 2 will be one of the first Android-powered smartphones with a USB Type-C connector. The move could mean that the 2 also comes with Google’s next-generation Android M operating system pre-installed.
