Android N’s first developer preview is out with a whole bunch of exciting new features, but if you don’t have a Nexus device, you can’t try it. However, you can get your hands on its sweet new wallpaper — right here!

Like many of the stock Android wallpapers that came before it, N’s new background image is a nice landscape scene. But thanks to the dark purple across the bottom, there’s not so much detail, so your icons will pop on the home screen and their labels will be easier to read.

This wallpaper is in 2880×2560 resolution, so it looks super sharp on Quad HD and 1080p displays. You can download it by clicking the source link below, which is courtesy of Droid-Life.

Android N should make its public debut this fall, and we expect to see a lot more of it at Google I/O, which kicks off on May 18. You can register for tickets now via Google’s I/O webpage, but you’ll have to be first — the deadline for applications is 5 p.m. PST today.
