Prior to its unveiling back in March, the Samsung Galaxy S4 was one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2013. It has big boots to fill after following the hugely successful Galaxy S III, and to do that it’s been equipped with a new 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, and an entire plethora of software features you won’t find anywhere else.

But is the Galaxy S4 worth the upgrade if you already have a Galaxy S III, and does this device have what it takes to stay one step ahead of its competitors? I’ve been using it for the past few weeks to find out.

The release of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, which is expected to take place on June 20, won’t bring a complete makeover to our Android devices; instead it will bring some optimizations and a few new features. However, with the release of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, we should see a refresh to the look of the Android OS.

What they might be like is a mystery at the moment, but we can only hope it looks like this gorgeous concept.

All of Verizon’s Samsung device model numbers have started with SCH, we have also established that the device is on its way to North America. But what is this device?

Apple’s iOS platform has continued to be the top platform for users who actually like to buy stuff via their smartphone, says a new study from Forrester. Consumers with iOS devices are 30% more likely to buy something via their device, than Android users.

Even though iOS is where more of the money is at, Android isn’t getting ignored by U.S. companies. Forrester’s study also reported that 96% of ebusiness professionals surveyed for the study plan to launch a native or hybrid Android app by the end of 2013, while 99% said they plan to do the same for iOS.

AT&T has taken another step to secure its place as the best 4G LTE network in the United States. As of June 21, new and existing GoPhone prepaid users will be able to connect to AT&T’s 4G LTE service.
