What’s in her hand?!?

Motorla has begun sending out invitations for its official Moto X unveiling on August 1st at a media event in New York City. The flagship Android phone has been rumored to launch in August, and yesterday Motorola tweeted a picture of the device being assembled at a plant in Texas. Print ads for the Moto X have already been in circulation, and multiple leaks have revealed specific details about the highly anticipated device.

Multiple leaks have indicated that the Moto X won’t actually ship to customers until the last week of August. We expect Motorola to announce pre-orders after the unveiling and then start shipping from various carriers as the weeks progress.

Google Chairman Eric Schmidt has been seen using the Moto X in the wild, and a leaked promotional video from Rogers, a Canadian carrier, recently showed off several key features in the new device.

Two days ago we found out that Google has a new Nexus 7 up its sleeve at $269 for a 32GB model, even though the specs were a mystery. A new leak has revealed more details on Google’s next tablet though, thanks to a product info price tag leaked to Engadget.

New features on the Nexus 7 will include a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, a 1.2MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera, wireless charging, Slim Port support and Android 4.3.

The Nexus 7 will keep its 7-inch display, but it’s not clear if the screen resolution will get a bump. All the details of the new tablet will likely be revealed at Google’s event on July 24th with Sundar Pichai.

According to one company executive, we could be waiting up until September.
