Google has been rumored to launch its Google Drive product for quite awhile. Most recently, we heard the product is set to launch in early April, but we’re still waiting on official word from Google. Tonight, it’s been revealed that Google Drive may offer its users 5GB of free storage when first signing up.

Owners of the Sony Xperia Play, get your thumbs ready for some beta testing. Tonight, Sony has released a public beta for Ice Cream Sandwich that runs on the Xperia Play. Sure, it was available through custom ROMs, but nothings better than an official release. Sony wants your help testing the software.


For those of you using the Amazon appstore to get your free-app-of-the-day, you’ll be happy to know they have increased the maximum application size that can be downloaded over a mobile connection from 20MB to 50MB. This change comes in the latest update to the appstore and will now give you the convenience of downloading that must have app while on-the-go and away from a WiFi connection.

Google has been rumored to sell a Nexus-style tablet on its own for a few months. Today, a new report once again backs up previous rumors, saying Google will sell its own tablet through an online store, much like Amazon does with its Kindle Fire. Samsung and Asus are among the rumored manufacturers.
