On-demand news radio service, Stitcher Radio, dropped a nice update in the laps of Android and iOS users today. Starting today, Stitcher Radio will follow in the footsteps of services such as Pandora or iTunes Genius, by providing personalized recommendations based on your listening activity. This new feature has been dubbed “Smart Station” and claims to be a first for talk radio.

While Instapaper was busy shunning us Android peasants, Pocket was busy building an amazing “DVR for the web,” and embracing the Android community. A 4.5 star rating and millions of downloads later, Pocket continues to improve their app, while fixing the issues us poor peasants may encounter.

Rovio’s Angry Birds updates are becoming more and more creative. The next batch of summer fun transports our favorite angry aviators to the land of aquatics. Down in the depths of the ocean lives a mythical green beast whose appetite for destruction can only be satisfied by the souls of the avian unborn.

Hold on, let me get my shocked face ready — okay, here it goes: the Verizon DROID RAZR won’t be getting Android 4.0 today *gasp*! After a CNET report which pegged the update for June 12, many Verizon customers took to their respective social networks to harass Verizon as to when they can expect to see the update. Unfortunately, Verizon’s response was the usual “we do not have a date for ICS on the RAZR yet.”

Spotify has released quite the update to its Android app today, bringing Android 4.0 support and a whole slew of changes. The app has always fallen short on many levels, but Spotify has done a nice job with this latest update and we’re sure you’ll agree.
