The Digital Crown is making its leap to Android Wear.

The Asus ZenWatch 2 smartwatch certainly has something familiar about it, right?

The latest Android Wear device to be shown off at the Computex trade show in Taipei, Asus’ new timepiece sticks by and large to the form factor of its first generation device, aside from the notable addition of a suspiciously-familiar Apple-style digital crown.

Samsung today rolled out its new smartwatch SDK in preparation for “the next generation Gear device,” and it confirms one of the wearable’s biggest selling points (and Samsung’s answer to the Apple Watch’s Digital Crown) — a new rotating bezel.

The Galaxy Note 5 may not be the only Samsung device to look forward to this fall. Sources say the South Korean company will launch its all-new Gear smartwatch, its first wearable with a round display, alongside the next-generation phablet at IFA in September.

TAG Heuer’s first smartwatch powered by Android Wear will make its debut later this year, priced at about $1,400, according to a new report. The device hopes to compete with other high-end smartwatches like the Apple Watch, and it promises excellent battery life.
