Amazon will be holding a press event on September 6th to reveal what we can only assume will be the next line of Kindles. The invitations have been arriving in press inboxes everywhere but give no details in regards to what will be announced. With the holiday season a few month away, Amazon will be getting a head start and it will be interesting to see how their new offerings compare to the current budget tablet leader, the Nexus 7.

The only surprise here, is the fact that T-Mobile even launched the Galaxy Note in the first place. Everyone was wondering why T-Mobile was bothering with a device that was almost a year old, not to mention the fact that its successor, the Galaxy Note II, is supposed to be announced at the end of this month. Well, it appears T-Mobile has come to its senses as it has decided to put the device to rest.

Small, wifi-enabled with the ability to print from tablets and smartphones, low-cost printing, equipped with a touchscreen, relatively inexpensive, fast…looks like a shopping list for the perfect printer, right? And that’s what Brother might have in their just-launched MFC-J4510DW, a sleek printer with Google Cloud Print connectivity and a price tag of $200 (though I’d love an explanation as to why Brother has stuck with alphabet-soup product names while its competitors have moved on to printers with names like “Artisan” and “Envy”).

Facebook has had one major thorn in its side for quite some time, and that’s its Android app. For some reason, they just can’t seem to get it right — or just don’t care. Well, it looks like someone in the Facebook camp cares, because some employees are now being required to use Android devices as their only device — so they can see just how bad the app really is.

Samsung is sweetening the pot for anyone considering a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. They’ve announced a slew of exclusive content as well as a couple free games now available to all Galaxy Note 10.1 owners.
