Gameloft continues to make friends with all the right people as Hollywood seems to be trusting them to create the official mobile games to accompany their summer blockbusters. First they teamed up with Marvel and Sony Pictures to bring the official Amazing Spiderman and now they’ve teamed up with Warner Brothers Games and DC Comics to bring the official Dark Knight Rises to Android and iOS this summer.

Samsung has announced it will be launching their own programmable NFC tags to go along with the release of the NFC enabled Samsung Galaxy S III. NFC (Near Field Communication) is still a bit of a mystery to some people and Sammy hopes to clear things up by showing consumers how they can help automate their lives with their new TecTiles and an NFC enabled device.

Hold on, let me get my shocked face ready — okay, here it goes: the Verizon DROID RAZR won’t be getting Android 4.0 today *gasp*! After a CNET report which pegged the update for June 12, many Verizon customers took to their respective social networks to harass Verizon as to when they can expect to see the update. Unfortunately, Verizon’s response was the usual “we do not have a date for ICS on the RAZR yet.”

It was a sad day for all non-humans when Samsung announced that the Galaxy S III was “designed for humans,” and while they remained hopeful, Samsung’s latest TV ad puts the kibosh on those dreams. Sorry you cute furry animals, the Samsung Galaxy S III is still “designed for humans.” I hate to rub it in, but here’s how the Samsung Galaxy S III will be used to enrich the lives of your higher-evolved cousins.

Spotify has released quite the update to its Android app today, bringing Android 4.0 support and a whole slew of changes. The app has always fallen short on many levels, but Spotify has done a nice job with this latest update and we’re sure you’ll agree.
