Maybe not. Instead, it appears both are dedicated to the mobile version of Chrome.

Google just announced its new subscription music service – Google Play Music All Access – at Google I/O a few weeks ago. The Android app was ready to go as soon as the service was announced, but according to Google Chrome and Android Chief, Sundar Pichai, an iOS app will quickly follow.

During his interview at D11 today, senior vice president of Android Sundar Pinchai confirmed that the HTC One Google Edition running stock Android will launch on June 26, priced at $599. The device will come unlocked, and it’ll be available to purchase through Google Play.

Google Play Music for Android has received another update adding the ability to share and delete tracks. This is the second time the app has been updated since it was overhauled at Google I/O earlier this month.

HTC hasn’t actually confirmed the One Google Edition yet, but if recent rumors are to be believed, it‘s just a matter of time. Getting your hands on one when they finally do arrive, however, could be a little difficult.

According to “sources familiar with the matter,” supplies of the HTC One Google Edition will be extremely limited, and those who want one could be waiting a long time.
