Google Schedules Two Announcements For Mobile Chrome [Video]

Two live-stream video feeds recently appeared on the Google Developers website, counting down to June 7 and June 13. You may be wondering what they’re all about — maybe Google will finally announce that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update?

Maybe not. Instead, it appears both are dedicated to the mobile version of Chrome.

The first live-stream will start on June 7 at 1 p.m. Eastern, and the second live-stream will start on June 13 at 11 a.m. Eastern. Both events can be viewed below where there’s a live countdown.

The first video is marked “Chrome Mobile Special Event,” the second is named, “Mobile Chrome Special Event.”

What does Google have in store for these events? This is a complete first for Google; it’s never held an event dedicated especially to its mobile Chrome Browser — and certainly not two!

It’s also very odd that Google have planned these events just weeks after Google I/O. What could it possibly be revealing? Extension support for mobile Chrome would be nice, but for now we’ll have to wait and see. We’re certainly excited about what Google has up its sleeve.
