Samsung has already started launching the Galaxy S4 in new colors, and its little sibling is set to get the same treatment. These leaked press shots show the Galaxy S4 Mini in red, brown, and blue ahead of their official unveiling.

Google Play TV is now available to use in the U.K., with individual episode prices starting from £1.89 ($2.87) for SD, or £2.49 ($3.79) for HD. Seasons prices vary depending on the program’s popularity as well as how many episodes it contains, with the cheapest starting at £4.99 ($7.59).

BBM-BlackBerry-Messenger

By now you’re probably already aware that BlackBerry Messenger is coming to Android and iOS this summer, but BlackBerry has been pretty quiet about its release since it was announced. We don’t know exactly when the app will arrive — though we do know it’ll be by the end of September.

But the Canadian company has now begun making the BBM beta for other platforms available via the BlackBerry Beta Zone.

Following LG Optimus F3’s recent release on both Sprint and Virgin Mobile back in June, T-Mobile has now announced that it will also be carrying a GSM variant of this handset, starting August 7.

The carrier is offering the device under its summer smartphone promotion – meaning you can pick up the F3 with no up-front fee. However, you will have to pay 24-monthly instalments of $10, to cover the cost of the handset, and you must be on T-Mobile’s Simple Choice Plan.

Sony-Xperia-Z

The Sony Xperia Z may be struggling to compete with the Galaxy S4 in many markets, but in Japan, it’s a big seller, and its popularity has helped Sony’s smartphone sales grow. The Japanese company today revealed its fiscal Q1 2013 earnings, which include 9.6 million smartphone shipments — up from 7.4 million in Q1 2012.
