XMBC is a cross-platform, open source media player that specializes in tons of options and ways of accessing content via local storage and the internet. The latest pre-release version of the Android client has support for Zeroconf, which in turn means the ability to use Apple’s AirPlay protocol on compatible devices. LG-G2-unveiling

Earlier today, LG announced its latest flagship smartphone, the G2, which the company firmly believes is the best smartphone it has ever built. In addition to the latest high-end specifications — like a 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, and a 13-megapixel camera — it also comes with a whole host of new software features that hope to give the Galaxy S4 a run for its money.

LG-G2-official

We may have already seen the LG G2’s official press shots, but at an event in New York City this morning, the flagship handset just got its official unveiling. As expected, the device offers a 5.2-inch 1080p display, which is coupled by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera.

LG calls the G2 the “most ambitious phone in its smartphone history,” but does it have what it takes to compete with the Galaxy S4, the HTC One, and other high-end Android handsets?
