HTC has confirmed that it will be introducing a new microphone to its new HTC One to sidestep a dispute with Nokia. As we reported earlier this week, the handset’s existing high-amplitude microphone supplied by STMicroelectronics was designed exclusively for Nokia and should not have been sold to rival smartphone makers.

HTC One handsets that have already been built with this microphone are safe, and they have not been hit with a preliminary injunction as first thought.

It’s no surprise to me, then, that the Korean company is already planning a second Galaxy S4 variation, but in this case, I think it’s acceptable.

The new model will be a “ruggedized” version of Samsung’s new flagship that’s both dust and water resistant.

Facebook-stickers-Android

Facebook Messenger for iOS recently got an update that introduced some snazzy stickers users could send to their friends, but for unknown reasons, these haven’t yet been brought to Android. At least not officially — but they are hiding in Facebook’s Android app, and they’re pretty easy to find.
