A pesky multitouch bug affecting the new Nexus 7 is no more, thanks to a new software update that is being rolled out by Google this week. There were concerns that the problem may have been related to hardware — given that it didn’t affect all Nexus 7 tablets — but the “JSS15J” release that’s being issued over-the-air promises to eliminate it.

It also addresses an issue with GPS sensitivity, too.

If you’re planning to pick up a new smartphone from AT&T this weekend, you now have the latest offerings from HTC, Samsung, and Motorola to choose from. The carrier today added the One mini, the Galaxy Mega 6.3, and the Moto X to its lineup — all of which are now available online and in store.

Pandora, the popular radio app on Google Play has received a rather nifty update this week, introducing a new sleep timer as well as support for NissanConnect.

The Chrome Beta for Android has today been updated to version 30 this week, adding a number of new features, fixes, and improvements. In addition to universal image search, it also adds new gestures for switching tabs, and a helpful easy zoom feature.
