If you’re fortunate enough to be attending this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, you’ll have an exclusive opportunity to purchase a couple limited edition Android mini collectibles by Andrew Bell. We’ve featured a few of Andrew’s mini-collectibles here on Cult of Android, but this it the first time we’re seeing the Summer Edition: Comic-Con Variant Set.

After a bit of a delay, Rockstar Games promised Android users that Max Payne would be hitting the Play Store on June 14, and sure enough, it’s here. Gameloft continues to make friends with all the right people as Hollywood seems to be trusting them to create the official mobile games to accompany their summer blockbusters. First they teamed up with Marvel and Sony Pictures to bring the official Amazing Spiderman and now they’ve teamed up with Warner Brothers Games and DC Comics to bring the official Dark Knight Rises to Android and iOS this summer.

Samsung has announced it will be launching their own programmable NFC tags to go along with the release of the NFC enabled Samsung Galaxy S III. We simply love wallpapers. They’re one of the first changes we make to our Android devices and often represent our moods, interests, or wicked alter egos. They’re as unique as the individuals who use them and while some people pick one and stick with it, others change them more often than a teenager’s Facebook status. Each day we’re going to feature a free wallpaper for you to download and use on your Android device. Depending on your device, you may want to use your favorite photo editing software to resize the image for a better fit. Once that’s done, apply and enjoy. Your homescreen can thank us later. Cheers!
