In two days, Sonic the Hedgehog will be celebrating his 21st birthday. While Sonic goes out and parties like it’s 1999, SEGA will be discounting all digitally available Sonic games for you and I to enjoy. For a limited time, you can head over to any of the following gaming/app stores and enjoy the great deals being offered by SEGA.

Announced back in December, Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II is finally ready for prime time. The next iteration in the Sonic series includes our favorite blue mammal along with his furry friend Tails. The game launched on the PlayStation Network and Steam today but will hit the Google Play Store tomorrow and the App Store on Thursday.


SEGA continues their push into the mobile market with classic titles for both Android and iOS. The latest game to hit the Google Play Store features the fun rolling monkeys from the popular GameCube Super Monkey Ball series. Super Monkey Ball 2: Akura Edition landed on Android earlier in the month and challenges you to guide one of four adorable monkeys through 125 themed stages set across 6 worlds. This arcade puzzler is perfect for all ages and features:


Sega promised to bring its Sonic 4 franchise to Android and even showed off Episode 2 which is set to hit Tegra devices sometime this year. While that news was exciting, we were still missing the episode that started it all — Episode 1. Well guess what? That iconic blue hedgehog has spun his way into the Android Market and is ready to pick up where he and Knuckles left off.


There’s going to be plenty of hardware debuting at CES this year, but let’s not forget that software companies will also be in the house. Sega is one such company, and they are planning to debut their Virtua Tennis Challenge for mobile devices, specifically the Sony Xperia Play. Sega has only recently broken into the mobile gaming world, but they have every intention of having a bigger presence in the near future.
