The Galaxy Note III is one of the most anticipated phablets of 2013, but Samsung has done a great job of keeping the device a closely-guarded secret ahead of its unveiling. We have no idea what the device will look like, and all we know about its specifications is what we’ve gleaned from rumors and educated guesses.

But two new reports claim that the Galaxy Note III will come with the latest Android 4.3 operating system pre-installed, and a massive 3,450mAh battery — the largest battery Samsung has ever put inside a smartphone.

We already know that Samsung will be unveiling its latest flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note III, in just under a month at IFA in Berlin, but until now we’ve been kept in the dark with regards to the features it will carry on board. However, that’s now about to change.

HTC-One-Max

The only images we’ve seen of the upcoming HTC One Max up to this point have been small and somewhat blurry hands-on pictures taken by those who have managed to obtain the device early. But the latest picture is a high-quality, “non-final” press shot believed to be from HTC.

But according to one HTC employee, it’s fake.

Apple’s Passbook feature in iOS hasn’t really taken off as quickly as people thought it would, but that hasn’t prevented Samsung from throwing developers into making its own Passbook clone. We first got our first look at Samsung Wallet back in February at MWC, but the the app is finally ready for primetime and available on Google Play.

The app is only supported on the Galaxy S3, S4, Note 1 and Note 2, and you have to sign-in with one of those silly Samsung accounts, but if you’re already nose deep in S Health, S Beam, Samsung Link and all the other half-baked Samsung apps you’ll feel right at home.

Here are the release notes:

Samsung Wallet

Samsung has officially released its Wallet application on the Play Store, an app that was only previously accessible via Samsung Apps on either the Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4 or Galaxy Note II. Samsung first previewed Wallet back at MWC in February and continues to be the South Korean company’s answer to Apple’s Passbook.
