HTC One Max Pictured For Chinese Market

HTC One Max

A Chinese variant of the upcoming HTC One Max has been snapped, showing the device looking very similar to the current HTC One. However, the Max does have some clear differences; one of which being the 5.9-inch display.

A series of leaks reveal that the Asian version of the Max will feature a removable back cover, dual-SIM variability and a microSD slot. Whereas the European and American editions of the handset will only pack single-SIM support and will not consist of a microSD slot.

In addition to the mighty 5.9-inch screen, the Max is rumored to be powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 3,200 mAh battery, and is expected to ship running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

We are unaware of the exact release date for this device at present, but speculation suggests that HTC could unveil the One Max at IFA 2013 in Berlin. This happens to be the same time that Samsung is scheduled to announce its latest flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note III, and we assume that this is not a coincidence.
