We first heard that Samsung may be planning to announce its new “Galaxy Gear” smartwatch at its September 4 Galaxy Note III event earlier this month, but the rumor just got even stronger after it was confirmed by Bloomberg’s reliable sources.

They claim that the South Korean electronics giant will unveil a “wristwatch-like smartphone” powered by Android that will go head-to-head with the new Sony SmartWatch 2, and a potentially competing product from Apple, one of Samsung’s biggest rivals.

Samsung today unveiled a new battery kit accessory for the Galaxy S4 which allows you to charge up a spare battery while you use another inside your device. The kit includes a second battery, a protective case, and a nifty little charging unit that accepts a micro USB cable.

The charging kit allow you to use your Galaxy S4 for longer in between charges by swapping out its battery for a fresh one when it’s dead, and it’s ideal for those lengthy road trips or long days away from the office.

But the Galaxy S II TV, which has been unveiled in Brazil today, shares little resemblance with its siblings. It’s smaller, it’s slower, and its camera isn’t as good, but it does have dual-SIM support and a telescopic antenna that picks up local television channels.

After its first press shots were leaked on Tuesday, we knew it wouldn’t be long before Samsung made the Hennessy official. And now the Korean company’s first Android-powered flip phone can be found on its Chinese website.

The Hennessy boasts two 3.3-inch displays — one on the front and one inside — plus a quad-core processor, dual-SIM support, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera.
