For today’s Tuesday Tweak, we’re focusing our attention on DashClock, a very flexible third-party notification app, which incidentally recently passed the three million installation milestone. The application is available to download on any smartphone or tablet running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean or higher, and provides users with the facility to view detailed notifications on both their home screen and lock screen.

It’s Sunday, the time of the week when Cult of Android brings you its report of some of the very best apps we have been using throughout the past week, and today we are focusing our attention on a very elegant alarm clock app, a great tablet security tool, a gorgeous live wallpaper and a time tracking widget.

Swing Copters is already a massive success on Android and iOS.

Swing Copters, the latest title from Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen, is in the limelight yet again this week following claims it plagiarizes another mobile game.

Development studio Open Name believes the super-addictive title is a ripoff of Bog Racer, a game they released on Android back in July that was recently pulled from the Play Store after Google decided it was a Swing Copters clone.

Google bundles its own, traditional file manager application into every build of the Android operating system it distributes. Although it’s adequate, many manufacturers tend to remove and replace it with their own version. Unfortunately, though, these always seem to be extremely overwhelming and way too difficult to use. However, you may be unaware that you can actually replace your default file manager to one of your choosing and what’s more it’s super easy to do.

Swing Copters, the new (and immensely difficult) mobile game from Flappy Bird creator .GEARS Studios, is now top in Play Store search rankings after Google cleared out a surprisingly long list of clones. Literally hundreds of them littered the Play Store on Thursday, making the original hard to find without a direct link.
