Google has removed almost all of last year’s Google Play Edition devices from Google Play, including the Xperia Z Ultra, the HTC One M7, and the LG G Pad 8.3. The only 2013 devices that remain are the Moto G and the Samsung Galaxy S4, but the latter is currently out of stock and has been for some time.

Android 4.4.3 KitKat with Sense 6 is now available on the HTC One M7 via the Maximus HD custom ROM. The update also brings an updated kernel and the latest system apps — as well as improvements to audio, the camera, and battery life. As with all third-party ROMs, however, you’ll need a custom recovery and S-OFF to flash it.

OnePlus has confirmed that One handsets on their way to Europe have been delayed by up to two weeks. Those lucky enough to get an invite expected to receive their devices this week, but a problem with the handset’s CE marking means a whole batch has been blocked by customs officials in Germany.

OnePlus today confirmed its rollout plans for the One going forward. The good news for those still looking to get their hands on the device is that the company will begin accepting pre-orders during the third quarter of 2014. The bad news is, you’re still going to need an elusive invite to get your hands on one before then.

No, the OnePlus One is not waterproof — and no, its warranty does not cover water damage. Don’t be fooled by those YouTube videos that claim it is, then. While the handset is designed to withstand mist and the odd rain droplet, it will not survive submersion in water, so don’t try bathing with it.
