Android 4.3 was announced a couple of days ago, and we are still discovering the enhancements and new features that this build has to offer. According to Google Maps, Product Manager for Photo Sphere, Evan Rapoport, the development team have worked tirelessly in order to make the program work better on compatible devices running the latest version of Android, and consequently a lot of the issues that were found in the initial software have now been eradicated.

The new Nexus 7 won’t get its official unveiling until later today during an Android event with Sundar Pichai, but thanks to Best Buy, we already know all there is to know about the new 7-inch slate — including what it will look like, and its full list of specifications. One carrier recently announced that Samsung was planning to skip the Android 4.2.2 update for the Galaxy Note II and update it to the upcoming Android 4.3 release instead. And it appears the Korean company may have similar plans for the Galaxy S III, which has already been spotted with Android 4.3 onboard.

Are you itching to get Android 4.2.2 on your Galaxy Note II? Well, don’t hold your breath, because according to one carrier, it’s never coming. The device is expected to skip the release and jump straight to Android 4.3 instead.

Google is expected to unveil Android 4.3 Jelly Bean alongside some new hardware at a media event next Wednesday, and 4.3 has leaked out into the wild yet again. Android Central got its hands on the upcoming software by means of the Nexus 4. Android 4.3 was recently spotted on a Galaxy S4 as well, and this looks like the same (or a very similar) build.

Since this isn’t a major Android release, the changes aren’t exactly jaw-dropping. But there are a few features worth noting, like low-energy Bluetooth support and OpenGL ES 3.0. There’s a new ‘always-on’ option for Wi-Fi-based location services. The camera app has been redesigned, and there’s a new call dialer that intelligently suggests phone numbers while you type. During testing, it was noticed that 4.3 “much improved touch sensitivity to the Nexus 4.”
