One carrier recently announced that Samsung was planning to skip the Android 4.2.2 update for the Galaxy Note II and update it to the upcoming Android 4.3 release instead. And it appears the Korean company may have similar plans for the Galaxy S III, which has already been spotted with Android 4.3 onboard.

The image above comes from Temefy.com, via PhoneArena, which is the same source that recently claimed Android 4.3 will be the next major update for the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II (before it was confirmed for the Galaxy Note II by Australian carrier Telstra).

As you can see, the handset is running Android 4.3.0, which Google is expected to announce at an Android press event this Wednesday. A recently leaked Android 4.3 ROM for the Nexus 4 revealed that the update isn’t all that exciting, with most of its changes under the hood.

However, for Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II users, it’ll be more significant, because it’ll also come with Samsung’s latest TouchWiz user interface, which includes some of the nifty new features that debuted on the Galaxy S4.

There’s no word on when Android 4.3 will be available for these devices just yet, but we hope to hear more after Google’s event on Wednesday.
