AT&T is once again hard at work trying to win that customer satisfaction award… said no AT&T board member ever. Those of you who have enjoyed having 30 days to decide whether or not your AT&T device or service is right for you, are going to have to cut your indecisiveness in half. Starting today, when you sign up for AT&T service or purchase a device on AT&T, you’ll have 14 days to return or cancel without being liable for an ETF (early termination fee).

The Nexus rumors have been gushing from every direction these past few days and we couldn’t be more excited. If everything we’ve heard pans out, we’ll see a new era of Nexus devices, with multiple OEMs no longer competing for Google’s approval, but for ours. We’ll soon be able to choose between Nexus devices of various specs made by various manufacturers. With that in mind, I’m now starting to think beyond the once important Vanilla Android experience and timely updates, and focusing more on want I’d like out of the hardware.

Honeycomb is on the verge of extinction as yet another Android tablet prepares to be updated to Ice Cream Sandwich. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 on Verizon has finally been approved for the update and users of the device should start to see it within the next week or so.

Rovio sent out a tweet today teasing their “next big thing” (who do they think they are… Samsung?). The tweet links to a Tumblr page featuring an animated gif of a Jedi Angry bird holding a lightsaber (the one you see above). Other than the Star Wars reference, there doesn’t seem to be much information. Whatever they have planned, it looks like it will be going down in New York on October 8th, at 10am EST as the only information listed is as follows:

It appears Sony’s Xperia Tablet S isn’t as “splash proof” or “water resistant” as they claim. Those buzzwords are now coming back to haunt Sony as sales of the Xperia Tablet S have been halted due to a manufacturing flaw that actually makes the tablets susceptible to water damage. Quite the opposite of what they are touting.
