After a security vulnerability within Google Wallet was discovered, Google decided to suspend the ability to add a Google prepaid card while they worked on patching things up. Google quickly fixed the issue but decided to hold off on returning the prepaid cards for a bit. I’m happy to announce that Google has finally returned the ability to add prepaid cards but you will have to update to the latest version of Google Wallet to get it. Once you update, you’ll be able to access Google’s prepaid card and any previously unused balance plus a little extra.


XFINITY TV for Android received a minor update today. By minor, I mean no new features have been added. However, those rocking Android 4.0 will see it as a major update considering it adds support for their precious Ice Cream Sandwich devices. Updating apps to support Android 4.0 hasn’t been that big of a priority for some developers and with such a low percentage of Android devices actually running it, I can see why. To be honest, no matter how slow developers are at updating their apps, it’s nothing compared to how slow OEM and carriers are at updating their devices!


We’re only two days away from experiencing the new gravity defying, interstellar slingshotting Angry Birds Space game and Rovio wants to make sure we don’t forget. Today they released the official game trailer and while we’ve already been exposed to in-game footage, the trailer gives us a bird’s eye view of the latest avian egg abduction. So grab your freeze-dried astronaut food, pack yourself a month’s supply of adult diapers and start counting down to this year’s out of this world blockbuster.


Gameloft has announced that they will be optimizing select titles to take advantage of the glasses-free 3D technology used in the Optimus 3D Max. The LG Optimus 3D Max is set to be released in Korea sometime this month. Upon release, the following optimized titles will be available through LG Smart World:


We’ve known about Verizon’s plan to introduce family shared data plans for quite some time now and have been patiently awaiting their release. It now appears we may see them soon as new images have popped up suggesting Verizon is in the end stages of development. PhoneArena managed to get their hands on a screenshot showing what appears to be Verizon’s future Family Data Usage Calculator.
