An Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is currently making its way to international Samsung Galaxy Note devices in Canada and the United Kingdom. Users on Bell, Rogers, and TELUS in Canada have all seen the update, as have those with an unlocked device in the U.K.

Still waiting for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to arrive on your Sony Xperia smartphone? Well, you’re not the only one, but there is some good news. Sony has confirmed that it’s now in the final stages of preparing Jelly Bean for a slew of Xperia devices, and the company promises more news this week.

Google Search received an update earlier this week, bringing users new features such as package tracking, rapid feedback, and settings information on cards. Google has also redesigned the display of cards in the notification center — prior to this update the cards stood out a bit like a sore thumb, but now they blend in elegantly.

LG-Optimus-G-Jelly-Bean

AT&T has begun rolling out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update to select users with the LG Optimus G, almost three months after it was released by LG. The 345MB update, which comes with the JZO54K build number, will be available to download over-the-air.

Google-Now-Chrome

Google Now, Google’s intelligent assistant that’s been wowing Android users since its introducing with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, is coming to the company’s Chrome web browser on Windows and Chrome OS.

Its move to desktops has been the subject of rumors and speculation for a while, but until the feature recently appeared in a Chrome beta release, there’s been little evidence to back it up.
