Rovio’s Angry Birds updates are becoming more and more creative. The next batch of summer fun transports our favorite angry aviators to the land of aquatics. After a bit of a delay, Rockstar Games promised Android users that Max Payne would be hitting the Play Store on June 14, and sure enough, it’s here. If you head over to the Play Store, you’ll be able to download the gun blazin’, action packed shooter that brought Bullet Time effects to video games.

Gameloft continues to make friends with all the right people as Hollywood seems to be trusting them to create the official mobile games to accompany their summer blockbusters. First they teamed up with Marvel and Sony Pictures to bring the official Amazing Spiderman and now they’ve teamed up with Warner Brothers Games and DC Comics to bring the official Dark Knight Rises to Android and iOS this summer.

After missing its April launch on Android, Max Payne is finally ready to cause some bloodshed this Thursday, June 14. As long as Rockstar Games keeps to their word, you’ll soon be able to enjoy classic Max Payne gameplay for the low price of $2.99. That’s a steal considering Max Payne mobile features HD graphics, high-resolution textures, Social Club connectivity, user-customizable controls and gamepad support for select USB controllers.

This year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo has been chock full of mobile news and is a testament to the future of mobile gaming. Major gaming companies such as EA took stage to not only show off their console offerings, but their future mobile versions as well. This year, EA showed off a number of titles, two of which will be hitting Android and iOS later this fall.
