Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 4 has been on sale for just under a month now, and the South Korean company has already sold more than 4.5 million units, according to industry sources. That’s a pretty impressive figure for most smartphone makers, but its predecessor was doing ever so slightly better this time last year.

Samsung could be rolling out its first Android 5.0 Lollipop updates by December, say sources familiar with the company’s plans — and the flagship Galaxy S5 will be the first to get one. The release will feature a revamped TouchWiz interface that will better suit Google’s new Material Design guidelines.

Still waiting for Google’s latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat update on your Galaxy smartphone? A leaked Samsung roadmap details the South Korean company’s release plans for 13 different handsets, including the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S4, the Galaxy Note 3, and the Galaxy Note 2.

Samsung’s upcoming virtual reality headset has been pictured for the first time ahead of its rumored unveiling next month. Codenamed “Project Moonlight,” the device works in much the same way as Google Cardboard, using your smartphone as its display.
