Apparently Samsung could’t keep its excitement over the Galaxy Note 10.1 contained and felt the need to announce a global launch ahead of their August 15th event. It’s official, and just like the Samsung event invitation, they’re now referring to the Note 10.1 as the “new way.”
A Samsung spokesman has already confirmed the Galaxy Note 2 (not an official name) unveiling on August 29th, but what about Samsung’s August 15th event in NYC? Well, there’s only a couple possibilities, but judging by the recent shipment that hit Negri Electronics, and the image on Samsung’s event invitation, I’d say it’s safe to say Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy Note 10.1.
Yesterday, U.S. electronics retailer, Negri Electronics, tweeted a picture of a freshly unboxed Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with the message “Ships 8/3 #BeforeFirst.” The message wasn’t very specific and sent confused Android fans clamoring about looking for answers. A venture over to the Negri site reveals they, in fact, have the yet to be officially announced Galaxy Note 10.1 up for pre-order. Unlike their tweet, the site makes no mention of the August 3rd shipping date.
Many stylus obsessed users are sitting at home eagerly awaiting a 10-inch Galaxy Note to write on. And while Samsung seems to be pretty hush-hush about a release date for the Galaxy Note 10.1, modeling agency Step Management has no problem showing it in action. It certainly looks like a sexy device, and perfect for those who prefer the larger screen — so how about a release date Sammy?
