Samsung To Unveil Next Galaxy Note At August 29th Unpacked Event

A Samsung spokesman has confirmed to Reuters that the next Galaxy Note, will in fact, be unveiled at their Unpacked event later this month. The event, which will take place in Berlin on August 29th, will set the tone for this year’s IFA and will coincidentally happen a couple weeks prior to the rumored iPhone 5 debut.

The next Galaxy Note is rumored to be a tad larger than the original, feature an unbreakable 5.5-inch display, 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 4G LTE connectivity, and a better camera. Unfortuantely the Samsung spokesman didn’t confirm any of the rumored specs, but at least he gave us a heads up on what to expect.

“We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29.”

We expect the new Galaxy Note to feature the same Nature UX Android customizations found on the Galaxy S III — which will hopefully be on top ofhttps://www.theverge.com/2012/8/2/3216869/samsung-next-galaxy-note-announcement-date Android 4.1. We’re sure more information will leak out before the end of the month so keep your eyes peeled.

Anyone excited about seeing a sequel to the Galaxy Note? I’m sure T-Mobile isn’t.
