BlackBerry Vienna, the Canadian company’s second Android-powered smartphone, has been revealed in leaked renders ahead of its official debut. Unlike the new BlackBerry Priv, Vienna has a more traditional BlackBerry form factor, with a keyboard built into the front of a candybar design.

BlackBerry 10 has been a complete flop since it made its debut with the Z10 in early 2013, but it does deliver some nice features that I’ve been waiting for on Android for almost three years. One of those in an awesome virtual keyboard that’s terrific to type on.

Now that BlackBerry has its own Android device, that keyboard has been ported to Google’s platform — and you don’t need to buy a Priv to get your hands on it. Here’s how to download and install it on your device.

BlackBerry’s commitment to making Android more secure will mean monthly security patches for BlackBerry Priv. The Canadian company has confirmed it will make the updates available to all Priv users as soon as they’re available… unless your handset is carrier-branded.

BlackBerry’s first Android smartphone will be offered by AT&T in the U.S. — and you’ll be able to purchase yours this week. Prices for Priv start at under $25 a month on an AT&T Next plan, giving you a more affordable alternative to BlackBerry’s steep $699 off-contract price.
