I just finished writing about how expensive the Galaxy Gear will be when it launches in the U.K. later this month, but Samsung’s new high-security Galaxy S III, which is now available in Germany, makes its Android-powered smartwatch look like something from a bargain bin.

The device will cost €1,700 ($2,243) with a two-year contract.

We’ve been eagerly anticipating the launch of BBM for Android since BlackBerry announced it back in May, but the Canadian company has done a pretty good job of keeping the app close to its chest ahead of its public launch. So aside from a few leaked screenshots, we really had no idea what it would look like or how it would perform.

But that’s no longer the case, thanks to the hands-on tour video below.

I don’t think I’ve ever downloaded an app that comes with an instruction manual, but it seems BlackBerry felt the need to create one for its upcoming BBM releases for Android and iOS. We’re expecting the apps themselves to arrive any day now, but the user guides have been leaked and they are already available for reading online.

Just one week after announcing its first Android-powered flip phone, Samsung has today announced another one! It’s called the Galaxy Golden, and it’s slightly more advanced than the Hennessy, with larger displays, a faster processor, a better camera, and a more recent version of Android.

It also has a number of special features, including a built-in pedometer and a business card reader.

After its first press shots were leaked on Tuesday, we knew it wouldn’t be long before Samsung made the Hennessy official. And now the Korean company’s first Android-powered flip phone can be found on its Chinese website.

The Hennessy boasts two 3.3-inch displays — one on the front and one inside — plus a quad-core processor, dual-SIM support, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera.
