With all the talk about Sony’s high end smartphones such as the Xperia Z2, it’s easy to forget about the midrange offerings. One such device is the Xperia M2 which has just gone up for pre-order in the UK carrying a price tag of £225 unlocked and off contract. The smartphone will also go on sale in Europe and Asian markets in the coming days.

Nexus 8 Leak

There has been plenty spoken about Google’s plans to launch an 8.9 inch Nexus device to succeed the widely popular Nexus 7. And newer reports are now pegging this device to be priced slightly more than the predecessor to accommodate for the change in display size and “high-performance” internals.

Moto-X-colors

Late yesterday afternoon, Motorola updated its official Assist app on Google’s Play Store, which is sadly currently only available to download on the following smartphones: the Moto X, the Droid Ultra, the Droid Mini and the Droid Maxx. The Motorola Assist app brings users exclusive added functionality that they would not usually receive as standard on their Android-powered handsets, and now, thanks to this update, users will be able to have multiple calendars monitored throughout their day-to-day life.

The makers of OnePlus One have been dropping hints about their upcoming smartphone through numerous forum posts, thus uncovering each important hardware aspect of the device. And now, the manufacturer has announced the launch of StyleSwap covers for its smartphone, which are basically back covers for the handset in a variety of options to choose from.
