Google’s stock Android Email application, which comes pre-installed on Nexus devices and allows users to access third-party email services like Outlook and iCloud, is now available to download from Google Play. The release will enable users to get their hands on updates and new features faster than before, but it’s available only to Nexus and Google Play Edition devices.

LG’s last two contributions to the Nexus line have undoubtedly been the best Nexus smartphones we’ve seen from Google. Combining high-end specifications and excellent build quality with affordable price tags, they’ve helped make Nexus devices popular not only with developers, but with Android users as well.

But despite the success of these devices, LG hasn’t been called upon to make a Nexus 6.

LG G Watch

It is all but known that Google is going to show off the LG G Watch at Google I/O next week with the device going on sale shortly after. According to some German-based Android sites though, it looks like Google will also be selling the G Watch via the Play Store.

According to the screenshots posted by Android Pit, Google had updated the German Play Store devices page with some information about the G Watch before pulling it down shortly afterwards.

Not to be left behind Apple’s HealthKit framework that collects and aggregates a user’s health data from various services and devices, Google is working on its own health service called Google Fit if this report from Forbes is to be believed.

The service will collect data from popular fitness trackers and health related apps and aggregate them into a central place, similar to Apple’s HealthKit.

Google is now selling Google Glass to residents of the United States for the next 24 hours.

The device costs $1,500 (plus tax) and comes bundled with a free sunshade lenses or a prescription lens frame. Google says the number of units available is limited, so you’ll need to act fast to secure yours.
