One has to wonder if there will be any surprises at this year’s Mobile World Congress. Almost every OEM has already announced their devices, videos, images, etc., and now we’re seeing a leaked press shot of the HTC One X (aka Endeavor, Edge) which has apparently undergone some changes. This image paints quite a different picture from the one we saw last week as HTC seems to have dropped the four button lineup in favor of the three button ICS design.

We already know ASUS is planning to unveil their unique Padfone at Mobile World Congress and we’re quite excited about this device. They’ve released a little teaser video using a matryoshka doll as a metaphor for the Padfone’s unique design which allows you to dock the phone inside its accompanying tablet for larger viewing. The video refers to the functionality of a phone + a tablet + a keyboard dock for endless possibilities and is a refreshing break from the same old designs we’re used to seeing.

To further promote their Galaxy Note, Samsung has decided to embarrass themselves by “going to the streets” to try and convince people how awesome the S-pen functionality is by challenging an obviously clueless iPhone user to perform the same mundane tasks as a seasoned (trained & scripted) Note user.

LG is certainly looking to make the biggest splash this year at Mobile World Congress. They have been announcing device after device, and now, they’ve gone ahead and unveiled the cream of their crop — the LG Optimus 4X HD. This powerhouse will feature a 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor with 4-PLUS-1 CPU cores as well as:

Google Docs for Android received a much needed update today. Users will be treated to a new Android editor, rich text formatting, and best of all, real-time collaborative editing. That’s right, just like the desktop version, users will now have the ability to invite others to collaborate on a document in real time. Now you can pretend you’re working in the office while you’re actually laying on the beach enjoying a mimosa.
