Collaborative Editing Comes To Google Docs For Android

Google Docs for Android received a much needed update today. Users will be treated to a new Android editor, rich text formatting, and best of all, real-time collaborative editing. That’s right, just like the desktop version, users will now have the ability to invite others to collaborate on a document in real time. Now you can pretend you’re working in the office while you’re actually laying on the beach enjoying a mimosa.

Google has also made the experience of editing documents less frustrating by updating the UI with features such as a fully functional pinch-to-zoom, cursor presence and highlighting. So grab your briefcase, update your Google Docs app, and head to the beach work.
