A few days ago we told you that Spelltower was headed to Android. The word game made a huge splash in the iOS App Store, and now it has made its way to Google Play.

If you’ve never played Spelltower, you’re in for a treat. It’s like Scrabble with some unique twists. There’s multiplayer support over WiFi. 1,800 Android devices are supported, including the Kindle.

LG showed off a number of new handsets at Mobile World Congress last week, but it seems the company hasn’t quite finished yet. It has today unveiled the Optimus LTE III, a new Android-powered smartphone that will succeed the Optimus LTE II (obviously), with a 4.7-inch 720p display, an 8-megapixel camera, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

While Samsung may be keeping the Galaxy S IV a closely-guarded secret until its grand unveiling on March 14, that hasn’t stopped a number of screenshots that were supposedly taken on the device itself from being leaked. One of the images reveals the handset’s specifications, which include a 1080p display, and a 13-megapixel camera.

There’s no sign of Samsung’s eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor, however.

Samsung has today lost its High Court battle against Apple in the United Kingdom after a judge deemed that the patents the Korean company was using in its case should have never been granted.

Apple has now fended off 24 patent-infringement claims from Samsung, and Samsung’s bid to secure a 2.4% royalty on every 3G-equipped device the Cupertino company sells is looking increasingly unlikely.
