Nokia has today announced the Lumia 925, a new Windows Phone flagship that will be hoping to steal market share away from Apple and Samsung in 2013. The device boasts an aluminum frame and offers an 8.7-megapixel rear-facing PureView camera — both of which are firsts for Nokia’s Windows Phone devices.

We didn’t expect Samsung’s new Galaxy S4 to arrive on Verizon until the very end of this month, but much to the delight of those who are waiting for it, the carrier has confirmed is launching the handset a week early on May 24.

That means there’s not just over one week to wait until you can get the latest Android flagship on Big Red.

HTC-First

Facebook Home hasn’t been doing too hot lately. First there was the news that Facebook Home has been a dud in the Google Play store, and now we’ve just learned that AT&T is already going to discontinue the HTC First.

The HTC First was the first and only smartphone to feature Facebook’s new Home interface baked into the OS. The smartphone just debuted on AT&T last month, but it’s already getting tossed out of stores.

SoundCloud-Google-Sign-In

The official SoundCloud apps for Android and iOS have today been updated to add support for Google+ Sign-In, allowing you to use your Google+ account in place of Facebook or Twitter. What’s more, there’s also support for Google+ sharing.

Samsung Galaxy S III users on T-Mobile USA can look forward to a new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update today, which introduces a whole host of new features and improvements, including Multi-Window and new apps.
