Galaxy Tab 2 ATT

At last AT&T’s LTE version of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (SGH-I497) is the next device on Samsung’s list to receive the Android 4.1.2 update.

Since the tablet launched on AT&T’s network back in November, 2012, supporting 4.0 Jelly Bean which was only about a year out of date, it seems almost fitting that the 4.1 update is coming almost a year after Jelly Bean was introduced on the Nexus 7.

Google has announced that it will continue to allow Argentinian developers to sell paid apps on Google Play for the time being, extending its deadline to an undetermined date in the future.

On May 25, 2013, the search engine giant gave developers based in Argentina one month’s notice that stated after June 27, 2013, it would stop allowing them to accept payments for apps in the Play Store, regardless of where the purchaser was located.

Motorola Mobility has a much-improved company logo — much better than the old one — which makes it clear that it is now “a Google company.” Since the search giant acquired Motorola back in August 2011, there hasn’t been many visible changes to its branding or its products. So a new logo is a huge step in the right direction.

Apple has lost its bid to add the new Galaxy S4 to its ongoing patent lawsuit against Samsung. U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul S. Grewal said that adding yet another device to the case is a “tax on the court’s resources,” and that it takes time away from other parties who require the court’s attention.

Microsoft announced earlier this week that it is bringing the PC classic Age of Empires to Android and iOS, and that sparked speculation that the software giant may be into porting Xbox games over, too. But don’t get your hopes up, because Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer has confirmed that it’s not going to happen.
