FreshBooks is a fantastic invoice/announcing service I’ve been using for years, and the official Android app was released today in Google Play. If you haven’t heard of FreshBooks, then you obviously haven’t done much freelance work. The service is free for a limited number of clients and charges a small rate for managing more. It can help you itemize, send monthly statements, etc.

“This newest member of the FreshBooks mobile cloud accounting app family is designed for you. Whether you’re tracking time from the coffee shop, capturing expenses in the back of a cab or sending an invoice right from a client’s office, FreshBooks for Android will help you tap your way to getting it all done.”

You can take a picture of a receipt and record it as an expense and manage a work timer with the app. Be sure to check it out in Google Play.

HTC-Change-ad

Earlier this week, HTC announced its new “Change” ad campaign starring Robert Downey Jr., and the first of a series of ads was set to air on YouTube tomorrow, August 15. But the two-minute clip was leaked earlier today, and so it appears HTC has been forced to release the official version a day early.

You can watch it below.

It had to happen eventually, but now that it has, it feels weird: smartphones are now officially outselling dumb feature phones internationally for the first time ever. And what made it happen? Cheap Android phones.
