Android-powered game consoles have really started to take off this year, what with devices like the NVIDIA Shield, the Ouya, the GamePop, and others arriving. But they could be set to receive a big boost from Google, which is reportedly developing a game console of its own.

Sources claim the search giant is also working on an Android-powered smartwatch that could launch before the end of the year.

Some promotional images of unreleased Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy Mega 5.7, and Galaxy Mega 6.3 handsets with a new purple paint job have been leaked ahead of their official unveiling. There is no indication when these devices will be available yet, but we’re expecting to hear more from Samsung very soon.

Apple has lost its bid to add the new Galaxy S4 to its ongoing patent lawsuit against Samsung. U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul S. Grewal said that adding yet another device to the case is a “tax on the court’s resources,” and that it takes time away from other parties who require the court’s attention.
