Samsung’s new Galaxy S7 will sport a familiar design, according to recent reports — but it may not be the Galaxy S6 clone we’ve all been expecting. According to a leaked display panel, the device may actually look just like a mini Galaxy Note 5 instead.

Google has vowed to investigate poor Wi-Fi performance on its new Pixel C tablet, which is resulting in slow download speeds for some users.

Early adopters reports that their Pixel C is only delivering a fraction of the Wi-Fi speeds other devices get on the same network, yet strangely, upload speeds don’t appear to be affected by the issue in most cases.

With CES, a.k.a. the world’s biggest Consumer Electronics Show, coming up this week, we’re about to hear a whole lot more about the Internet of Things and smart connected gadgets.

Which makes this the perfect time for the announcement of a new type of Wi-Fi called Wi-Fi HaLow, which is an extension of the upcoming 802.11ah Wi-Fi standard, designed to end up inside fitness trackers, home sensors, and other smart gadgets.

A leaked specifications list for the upcoming Galaxy S7 suggests this year’s upgrade will be all about adding power and improving upon last year’s incredible camera. It also indicates that Samsung will be joining forces with Qualcomm again after avoiding its fiery Snapdragon 810.
